Hello, donut enthusiasts searching for the best donut shops! Today, I'm going to introduce you to the top 3 most famous donut shops in Korea. Last time, I introduced Randy's Donuts, which is a popular donut shop in the US but also loved in Korea. Today, I'll be introducing Old Ferry Donuts!

Old Ferry Donuts is one of the oldest donut shops in Korea, boasting a long tradition and history since its establishment in 2016. Along with the classic taste of original donuts, their signature cream donuts are incredibly popular.

It's a famous donut shop with long queues, gaining popularity through SNS (social network services) and becoming a popular first-generation donut brand, especially among the MZ generation. While not as much as before, popular menu items still sell out if you visit late at night. I visited the Yongsan branch, and since it was in the evening, many of the popular items were already sold out.

Starting with the Hannam branch, the main store, it has many locations, including Garosugil, Jamwon, Yongsan, Daegu, Gocheok, Jeongja, Sadang, Incheon, Yeonnam, and Siheung Premium Outlet.

Old Ferry Donuts has also expanded overseas. Old Ferry Donuts has opened a store in 'The Source OC Mall' located in Buena Park, California, USA. The first overseas store in California sold out all its donuts within 5 hours on its opening day, and since then, there have been long lines of customers waiting. It's quite surprising that a domestic brand is making a comeback in the US, the birthplace of donuts, isn't it?

Old Ferry Donuts has a signature character that symbolizes the brand. It's a gummy bear eating a donut. Old Ferry Donuts is also gaining popularity with its American vintage-inspired design and character. Perhaps due to its cute signature character, it also has a goods shop where it sells various merchandise. They offer a variety of products such as t-shirts, smart talks, phone cases, coffee drip bags, cups, and blankets, all with the brand's logo. They also sell products through various collaborations. I'll share a link below for your reference!

Besides selling merchandise, Old Ferry Donuts is actively involved in various activities such as card releases through collaborations and pop-up stores.

Now, let me introduce the menu. The representative menu items include Butter Pistachio (₩5,500), Peanut Butter (₩5,500), and Crème Brûlée Donut (₩4,200). Other options include Original Ring Bread (₩2,900), Cinnamon Sugar Ring Bread (₩3,300), Pink Sprinkle Ring Bread (₩3,600), Choco Crunch Ring Bread (₩3,600), White Chocolate Sesame Ring Bread (₩3,600), Coconut (₩5,000), Boston Cream (₩4,400), Milk Cream Donut Bread (₩3,600), Raspberry Sugar Ball (₩4,200), and Butternut (₩3,200).

I'm curious about the taste of the White Chocolate Sesame Ring Bread with wasabi and the popular Butter Pistachio.

I've tried the Crème Brûlée, Boston Cream, and Coconut donuts. Personally, I enjoyed the Coconut donut because I like the coconut flavor. However, the other donuts were very sweet. I felt they were as sweet as, or even sweeter than, Randy's Donuts.

Compared to Notted and Randy's, the prices are a bit higher, so it might feel a bit burdensome. Personally, after trying all three donut shops, I found Notted to be the best fit for my taste buds. But everyone's taste is different, so it's best to try them yourself, right?

I'll provide the address of the Hannam-dong main store. It's located on the 2nd floor at 66, Hannam-daero 27-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Exit through the Shinhan Card Hall exit, go down the stairs on the left, walk straight for 44m, and then turn right and walk for 76m. You can then use the stairs at the front of the building to go up to the 2nd floor.

It's open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with no holidays. The phone number is 0507-1482-2058.
