Hello. Today, I'll be introducing makeup products that suit each personal color. This time, it's the Summer Cool edition! If you're curious about personal color, which I explained in the Spring Warm edition, please refer to that post.

Let me briefly explain the characteristics of Summer Cool. Summer Cool tones generally have a yellow undertone and often experience redness. Their eye and hair color can be considered black-brown. It is said that Summer Cool is the most common skin tone in Korea. In the past, many makeup products were based on Autumn Warm, but with the popularity of personal color, more and more people realized they were Summer Cool, leading to an increase in makeup products suitable for Summer Cool. Summer Cool tones tend to look better with natural makeup rather than glamorous makeup. They generally give off a calm and intellectual impression.

Some representative celebrities include Moon Chae-won, Kim Go-eun, Kim Tae-ri, and Son Ye-jin. Perhaps due to the Summer Cool image, there are many actresses.

Now, let's check out the recommended items.

1. Peripera All Take Mood Palette - #4 Mute-own Us Rose-wow

Palettes generally take up a lot of space and are inconvenient to carry around, but the Peripera palette is compact and easy to carry. Also, due to its smaller size, it's cheaper than other palettes.

The shadow colors are Mono Mute, Glimering, Philcosophy, Shower Light, Tinting Petal, Rozy Muse, Mauve Brown, and Dalgeumja, for a total of 8 shadow colors in the palette. There are 2 glitter colors.

This is a product I personally use often. Mono Mute is a good base shadow for the eyes, and it can also be used for nose shading or creating an overlip effect on the lip line. Philcosophy is great for creating an aegyo-sal (eye smile) effect. As for the glitter, Glimering has smaller glitter particles for a subtle look, which I've used often.

My personal color is Summer Cool Mute, so if you're also a Mute tone, I highly recommend this product!!

2. Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint - Bear Grape

[2023 Awards/1st Place Tint] The Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint is sold at Olive Young for ₩9,900.

Rom&nd has come out with a new Bear series. Bear Grape from the Bear series is a cool-toned tint with a grayish mid-tone. The color is a clear pink with beige added, making it a cool-toned nude color that doesn't look harsh on bare skin.

This is a swatch of Bear Grape.

When actually applied, it creates a natural lip look, similar to applying lip balm. I recommend it to Summer Cool individuals who prefer lighter lip products. However, some might find the color too light, so it's good to use as a base lip.

3. Clinique Cheek Pop - Heather Pop

Clinique Cheek Pop is sold under the name [2023 Awards] Clinique Cheek Pop Single Choice (excluding Ballerina Pop) for ₩36,000.

I recommended Clinique blush in the previous Spring Warm edition, and I wanted to introduce a blush shade that's great for Summer Cool as well, as they offer colors suitable for them.

It has a powder formula but a creamy and transparent texture without any powderiness. The liquid color is baked into a light powder, creating a natural and transparent color on the cheeks, like blooming flowers. You can easily adjust the color intensity according to your preference.

Heather Pop has a natural nude pink color that brightens the skin tone naturally. However, the color is quite strong, so apply it lightly. Heather Pop is a recommended color for Summer Mute individuals.

There are other blushes suitable for Summer Cool besides Heather Pop, such as Ballerina Pop, Pink Pop, and Rosie Pop. Ballerina Pop is a classic strawberry milk color and is highly recommended for Summer Cool Light individuals.

For Summer Cool tones, you can use highlighter to add volume to a dull face and complete a lovely makeup look.
